Friday Electives
In Term 3, our school will be running a 3 week block of electives, giving students the opportunity to explore new interests and develop new skills. The electives are designed to offer a variety of learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and personal growth. Each teacher has chosen a topic that they are passionate about and have designed 3 weeks of activities for the students.
By choosing their own elective, students are empowered to take ownership of their learning, follow their passions, and challenge themselves in areas that spark their curiosity.
We believe that electives are a great way to nurture creativity, build resilience in students by getting them to try something new, and create a stronger connection across our school community.
What electives are happening?
There are a wide range of activities happening. They include:
Origami
Dance
Science
Mask making
Paper crafts
Nature Art
Sewing
Lego Masters
Jewellery Making
Stop Motion Animation
Sweat and Solve Challenges
Tri Sport Tournament
Over the coming weeks, we will provide updates on how the electives are progressing.
