Father’s Day Stall (and Canteen’s Busiest Day!)

Yesterday CHAPS hosted our school’s Annual Fathers' Day Stall. Thank you to all our parent helpers for making the day a success, especially Nikky Edwards (not pictured!) in her final year volunteering for the school. The Father’s Day stall has been one of the annual events she has coordinated and is one of many ‘lasts’ for her this year!

Much to my amusement, the day was also a success for our school Canteen, with all the loose change from the children's purchases going over the Canteen counter at recess and lunch!

Thank You and all the best!

This week our long-standing Out of Hours School Care Coordinator Deb Sedgwick, her son David, and long-serving OSHC educator Mandy Ray shared that they will be resigning from their positions at Croydon Hills OSHC.

On behalf of School Council I thanked them for their contributions to our school community and, in particular, Deb who started the service 34 years ago.

School Council will suitably thank and acknowledge Deb and Mandy for their extended service in the coming weeks.

The School Community is open to expressions of interest from the broader community to fill the positions of OSHC Coordinator and diploma qualified OSHC educators.

Role Modelling Road Safety

This week I’m asking our individual families that are passionate about community safety to be positive role models to those that continue to display behaviours we do not want to see.

Please role model:

  • Using the school crossing
  • Parking appropriately
  • Travelling at a conservative speed

Many thanks!
