Day 6: Bologna

Most of today was spent on the bus to Bologna. Before leaving, we enjoyed a final colazione (breakfast) together and made sure to pack our bags attentively so as not to leave anything behind. We took a final group photo together to remember our time in Orvieto before boarding the bus which would arrive in Bologna in the early afternoon.

Along the way, we saw many beautiful sights driving through Toscana (Tuscany) including the very famous Duomo di Firenze in the distance.

At our final pit stop at Cantagallo we had our final pep talk to prepare ourselves for a weekend living with real Italian families. 

We were all super excited to hear some of us already had plans to visit the seaside in Rimini or to learn how to cook some typical Italian dishes. Below are some images of some of our adventures on our first night of homestay.
