FIRST EUCHARIST

On Saturday, 4th July, Alexis Swain received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Boggabri. Surrounded by family and friends, Alexis joined the parish community as Father Mario celebrated Mass.

In preparation for receiving the sacrament, Alexis joined fellow candidates from St Xavier’s, Gunnedah, for a special Retreat Day on Thursday, 25th June.

In receiving the Body of Our Lord Jesus Christ for the first time, Alexis enters more fully into the sacramental life of the Church and God’s family. Congratulations Alexis! Our prayers are with you as you continue your journey of faith.
