Welcome back to all our students and their families, we hope you were able to have some great family time over the break.

Second term has started off busy and will most likely continue with all sorts of sporting commitments, Open Day and Country Week to conclude it.

We encourage everyone to continue to keep up our excellent hygiene practices as this is one of the terms when coughs and colds develop and can be spread rapidly if we become complacent.

It is also usually wet and cold, so we encourage people to bring warm clothing, coats etc to stay warm and cosy. This includes bedding, doonas, blankets etc. Whilst on bedding, all students are supposed to have two sets of sheets so as on sheet changing day the fresh sheets can go straight on the bed, as it is irresponsible to think that as amazing as our laundry ladies are, it is impossible to wash and dry 64 sets of sheets and have them back to everyone that day.

This weekend we have the second group of students undertaking the Skippers Ticket in Mandurah, they have undertaken some long hours of study this week in preparation, and we wish them all the very best on Saturday morning. Big shout out to Ms Stringer who does an enormous amount of work both behind the scenes and in the delivery of the training.

A reminder that next weekend, 27th and 28th April, is a closed weekend with ANZAC Day falling on Thursday, students will finish on Wednesday at 2.25pm. We will make all public transport commitments on Wednesday afternoon as per a normal Friday departure process. We ask that students are collected by 5.00pm Wednesday, and that they are not back onsite until after 3.00 pm Sunday when we will have staff in position to take “Duty of Care “of your children.
