Hello – Kaya,
Welcome back to Term 2 and unfortunately still no rain. This is very concerning and brings about many challenges for everyone across many different sectors.
OLNA – Yr 10
In week 2 we will start our next round of OLNA testing and the first test students will sit is writing. I have emailed home to families and to students with the outline for each test and details on how to log in to the practice test. This is worthwhile as understanding the assessment platform and effective strategies in sitting these tests go a long way to achieving the required minimum standard. All that said, students will have multiple attempts in meeting this and support along the way both in class and after class to improve their results. A number of Year 10 students have completed their first attempt in Semester 2 of Year 9 and will not sit another attempt until the second semester of this year. Students sitting their OLNA this Semester are on their first attempt.
