ART SHOWCASE! 22ND April – 10th May

This year’s Art showcase topic is, Utopia, simply put, imagine your perfect place, time or space! After the success of last year's Art showcase, we cannot wait to see the entries come in, and once again fill our school corridors with creativity, inspiration, and amazement! We encourage students to have a look at what resources they have at home and not put pressure on families to purchase additional art and craft supplies.

Entries can include paintings, drawings, dioramas, collages, LEGO creations, sculptures, photographs, poems etc, and need to be the student’s own work.

Entries must have the student’s name and class clearly printed on it, and can be no larger than A3. All entries are to be brought to the Art room, along with the completed entry form; these are available on Compass, or via the Front office, or Art room.

ART NEWS

Our students have shown so much creativity and joy in the Art room over the past two weeks. We are so proud of them and their creative and determined minds and caring hearts.

With our focus being on paying respect to our country’s service personnel, students have learnt about the history of the ANZAC’s and the significance of the Poppy flower. We can’t wait to share with you their completed artworks.

Take care everyone,

Mrs Peldys and Mrs S
