ART
Foundation
The Foundation students have been exploring line and colour using oil pastels and watercolour paint. They have made some fantastic monsters using collage to create different expressions, the results are awesome!
3/4
The Year 3/4s have been inspired by Henri Matisse and his use of colour in his still life painting. These beautiful pieces of work have been made using oil pastels, watercolour paint, drawing ink and tissue paper. They are so vibrant!
Year 5/6
The Year 5/6s have made some incredible animal faces using collage. They have been focusing on the use of symmetry and patterns. Once again they have nailed it!
STEM
In STEM, students have been learning to play my game. You must program the robot to carry cups to the other side of the mat. When you achieve this you get a high five from me and your teammates. This game was getting students to solve not-too-difficult problems: score taking, teamwork, design challenges, sharing their work on Seesaw and creative problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
Feeling super grateful for all the good student work and the good things to come.
Wellbeing
In Year 3/4 we have been looking at the similarities and differences between CNPS students and their families. It was fascinating to see how at the same time we have so much in common, but also such diversity at our school.
