MECS Notes
Raising Tech-Healthy Humans
You may have seen on our Facebook page recently that MECS has been lucky enough to secure a FREE parent resource called Raising Tech-Healthy Humans.
This has been created by Daniel Sih, who is a TEDx speaker and award-winning author. Daniel is a Christian who writes and speaks for the broader Australian community, yet his teachings are informed by his love for Jesus and his experience working as a church pastor.
There are fifteen short, interesting videos covering a range of essential tech-healthy parenting topics such as:
How do I encourage healthy screen-time limits?
What is the impact of interactive media on my child's developing brain?
When and how should I give my child a smartphone?
How do I engage in relationship-forming tech-conversations?
How is my philosophy of technology a faith-issue?
What can I do to get my kids outdoors to have fun?
How do we support each other to raise healthy, wholehearted humans as a community?
This course is usually priced at $97 but is being offered to us for free. It is an incredible gift and blessing and we are thankful to Daniel for sharing his gifts to empower and equip our families.

We pray that you find this resource helpful as we all navigate raising children in a tech filled world.
