Mother’s Day Prayer
Dear Lord,
We thank You for the gift of mothers, for their love, guidance, and care. Please bless them with Your grace, strength, and wisdom as they continue to nurture and support their families. Surround them with Your love and peace, and let them know how deeply they are appreciated and cherished. In Jesus’ name we pray.
Amen
Our Lady of Fatima Feast Day - Monday 13th of May
The 13th of May, is the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima. This day marks the significance of the following story and occurred a long time after the Bible was written.
Once upon a time, in a small village called Fatima, there were three children: Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta. One day, while they were tending their sheep, they saw a beautiful lady shining brighter than the sun. It was Mary, the mother of Jesus! Mary told the children to pray for peace in the world and to love God with all their hearts. She appeared to them several times, each time with a special message of love and hope.
The children were so happy to see Mary, but some people didn't believe them. They faced many challenges but remained faithful to Mary and her messages of love and prayer.
This is what our school sports house ‘Fatima’ is named after.

The coming of the Holy Spirit
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
