Rising Stars

On Monday 3rd March, 8 students from STMM went to Des Renford to compete for our school at the Conference 1 swimming trials. Every one of these students were a wonderful Ambassador for St. Margaret Mary’s, and they all made us so proud with their efforts! Well done to Lucas Recio, Henry Hammer, Nathaniel Law, Isabella McLennon, Frenchie Rugendyke, Abigail Feletto, Iyla Derkenne and Isabel Hall.

A big congratulations to Frenchie in Year 5 for receiving on the day, 1st in the IM, butterfly and freestyle, and 2nd in backstroke. Frenchie will go on to represent STMM at Sydney level on Monday 24th March. We wish you the very best of luck!

Recently, Allegra and Charlotte in Year 4 had huge success in their OzTag Grand Final. It was a very exciting game, with the girl’s team, the Clovelly Cobras, coming out on top in extra time! Well done girls!

Trials will involve games with other students from different schools in our conference. Successful students will then go on to represent SCS at the MacKillop level, with an opportunity to be selected at the state/national level.
