What's happening in Term 1
Lunch club is back on with students visiting at 12pm and 2.20pm. The Library Captains have been helping out and doing a wonderful job in their new roles.
And our Wellbeing dog, Archie, was back in on Monday!
This year, we’ve introduced a new initiative in the library called the “Book Hospital.” The goal is to help students understand the importance of taking care of the books they borrow and to encourage them to treat them with respect.
If a book gets damaged or shows signs of wear, like rips or tears, it
comes to the Book Hospital for repairs, where we do our best to fix it and get it back on the shelf for everyone to enjoy.
We’ve received such a positive response from students and classes, with many students bringing up books to me that need a little TLC. It’s great to see so many eagle-eyed readers! A big thank you to everyone who’s been careful with their books and supporting this initiative. Your efforts make a difference!
Spotlight on the Non-Fiction 700s Section
To celebrate all the knowledge in our Non-Fiction sections, the Library will be shining a spotlight on different areas of our collection. This spotlight, we're focusing on the 700s section, which is filled with fascinating books on topics like sports, entertainment, art, and photography.
Be sure to keep an eye on the Library windows for more details as we highlight different sections throughout the year!
