Art Club 2025: A Year of Creativity and Inspiration!

The year has started off with a burst of creative energy as our Art Clubbers gathered to discuss and shape the direction of Art Club 2025! With a fantastic increase in membership, it has been inspiring to see students from Year 7 to Year 12 collaborating, sharing ideas, and supporting each other in their artistic journeys.

Our first session, led by our incredible Art Therapist, Madeleine Azhar, set the tone for an exciting year ahead. Her guidance and encouragement have inspired our young artists to set a goal: to showcase their creative pieces at the end of every term! They have also brainstormed a variety of themes for this term, ensuring a diverse and engaging artistic exploration.

One of the most exciting developments is that their completed works will be proudly displayed at the Learning Wellbeing Centre each term. Additionally, these incredible pieces will contribute to our annual The Hill Art and Technology Show, giving our students the opportunity to share their creativity with the wider school community.

In just three sessions, our talented Art Clubbers have already demonstrated an eclectic mix of ideas and mediums—from drawing and painting to sculpture and multimedia. The atmosphere in the club is nothing short of inspiring, with students working independently yet collaboratively, sparking creativity in one another.

We are so proud of their dedication and passion! Art Club is not just a space for creating—it’s a place where young artists encourage, uplift, and inspire each other, making every session a wonderful place to be.

Stay tuned for more updates as we witness their artistic journey unfold throughout the year!

Here’s to a year of creativity, collaboration, and artistic excellence!
