R U OK? Day
Next week our students will be participating in class discussions about R U OK? Day.
Throughout the week, students will explore the importance of checking in on others, seeking help when they need it, and knowing who they can turn to for support. These conversations link closely with our Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) learning, particularly around help seeking, problem solving and looking out for others.
At home you can have simple conversations with your children about:
Being a good friend
Looking out for others
Checking in with friends when they seem upset or worried
Trusted adults who can help
What to do when you or someone else needs support
Sometimes a simple conversation can make a big difference. We encourage all families to take some time this week to check in with one another and continue these important discussions at home.
LUNCHTIME LEGENDS
A reminder that our Lunchtime Legends programs, run by our student leaders, continue to provide fun, inclusive and engaging opportunities for students at lunchtime and recess.
We are incredibly proud of the leadership shown by our senior students and the enthusiastic participation across the school.
Weekly Activities
Monday Lunchtime: Sandpit Squad
Wednesday Lunchtime: Games on the Grass
Friday Lunchtime: Reading Retreat
Everyday Recess & Lunchtime: Chill Zone
These programs are free for students to join and have been a fantastic success, with strong participation across all year levels.
