Student Reports - Semester 1, 2024

The Semester 1, 2024 Student Reports will be available on the Compass Parent Portal at 3.30pm on Friday 21st June. Please contact the office if you are unable to log in to the Compass Parent Portal.

Schools are required to formally report student achievement and progress to parents/carers twice per school year for each student enrolled at the school.

The report will show student achievement and progress against the Victorian Curriculum Achievement Standards for each curriculum area taught. The reports are based on a combination of teacher judgement and assessments completed during the semester.

What is a Progression Point?

A Progression Point is an indication on a scale of a student's achievement since the last published school report. At Rangeview, a student's Semester 1 result (Progression Point) will be indicated by a black dot. The white dot indicates the student's achievement, the last time the subject was reported on.

At Rangeview, our reports also include:

  • Teacher Comment
  • Future learning
  • Semester Activities
  • Values
  • Work Habits
  • Attendance
  • Specialist - Demonstrated Knowledge and Skill

We look forward to discussing your child's results further at the Student Led Conferences for Levels 1-6 or during Foundation Parent Teacher Interviews in Week 11 of Term 2.

Parking Around Our School

We recognise that traffic congestion around the school at drop off and pick up times is difficult to navigate, however for the safety of our students, we ask that all local road rules and signs are adhered to.

Please be respectful of our neighbours and do not use their driveways to drop children off. Adhere to the 'no parking' signs and do not use the Churinga Avenue entrance driveway as a pick up or drop off point. Our Munro Street entrance now has flags to remind drivers that the area in front of the school gates is a 'no standing' zone.

Whitehorse Council regularly send parking inspectors to monitor traffic management around the school.
