Home Inquiry:
Reading: Aim to read for 15 minutes per night.
Inquiry: Write a list of ways you can show kindness at home and at school. Do a few of those things and get ready to talk about it in class!
Mathematics: Survey family members about their favourite activities (playing sports, watching movies, baking, etc.) and create a graph to show the results.

Literacy:
Spelling: Year 3 sound focus this week are homophones, with a grammar focus on using a dictionary. Year 4 sound focus is also homophones with a grammar focus on verb tenses.

Writer’s Workshop:We will be exploring parts of speech to make our writing the best it can be!
Reader’s Workshop: To link with our Inquiry, we are exploring character perspectives.
Mathematics: We will be continuing our unit on exploring data and graphing.
Unit of Inquiry: Through “Peacemaking”, we will be exploring the topics of emotion, connection and kindness.
