Gray Street Biodiversity Garden
Grade 3/4 students have been learning about native plants and animals and the importance of biodiversity. We were very lucky to receive a ‘Victorian Junior Landcare and Biodiversity Grant’ which has enabled the students to design and create a biodiversity garden down the front of the school. Students have planted a variety of indigenous plants, provided a bird bath, nesting box, native bee hotel, butterfly house and a lizard lounge all the hope of attracting native wildlife. Thanks to Kerrilee and Mitch, our Environmental Captains, who helped supervise the planting of tube stock.
