Celebrations of Learning and Community

Hope Tour Incursion

Hope Tour visited Hazel Glen College on 5th June and performed to our Year 7 and Year 9 students. The Hope Tour performance included a mix of dancing, rapping and positive messages of hope to remind students that no matter how tough things may seem in life or when you might be down, there is always "hope". Our Year 7 and 9 students were very engaged with the performances and enthusiastic about what they were hearing. There were lots of smiles and cheering during the performance!

Bully Zero

Bully Zero visited Hazel Glen College on 5th June to present to Year 6. They presented on cyber bullying, supporting students on how to identify and respond to cyber bullying, as well as understanding how to navigate social media and other sites online in a safe way. This is a presentation that is important as students have different ways that they might be taking part in social media and is also a reminder to have these conversations at home around safely using social media.

Year 12 Formal, a night to remember!

Students came dressed in their best formal attire ready to celebrate their final year of school and reflect on the many memories they have made together over their years spent at Hazel Glen College.

The evening included special musical performances from some of our Year 12 students, a fun-filled photo booth and an amazing dance floor that had students dancing the night away.

It was fantastic to see both students and teachers coming together to celebrate the fantastic relationships that have been fostered here at the college, particularly as we as a cohort make our way into the final chapter of our secondary school journey.
