~Do all that you do with love~

Dear Families,

Mother's Day

We warmly thank all of our mums and special women in our community who joined us to celebrate Mother’s Day. It was so special to see so many families come together to share in such a meaningful morning, and we truly appreciate the time you took out of your busy schedules to be there.

This year we introduced a brekkie instead of morning tea and it seems like this was a great success. While the delicious smell of bacon and eggs lingered well into the day, it was worth the early start to share food, conversation and connection as a community. There was a lovely sense of joy and togetherness throughout the morning, and it was clear how much these moments mean to our families.

A highlight of the celebration was our beautiful liturgy, so thoughtfully led by our Foundation students. They showed great confidence and reverence, setting a heartfelt and reflective tone for the morning. Thank you to all of the staff for the work that went into preparing for our celebrations, the stall, the breakfast and the liturgy. It was evident how much effort had gone into making the morning special for the important women in our students’ lives.

Senior Camp

Our senior students should be congratulated for the way they conducted themselves and participated on camp this week, they were respectful, responsible and represented our school with pride. From the thrill of stepping outside their comfort zones on the giant swing and flying fox, to the group activities requiring cooperation, the students embraced each opportunity with enthusiasm and resilience. So many of our students displayed a willingness to try new things. A visit to the Penguin Parade is always a highlight and the staff have commented on how our students displayed our school wide expectations whilst enjoying the experience with many members of the public. I'm sure the students benefitted from an extra day of rest yesterday and I look forward to catching up with them over the coming days to hear their tales.

Camps such as this don’t just happen - they require a significant amount of organisation, planning and commitment from our staff. I would like to sincerely thank our dedicated team, led by Emma Davies, for their willingness to give up time away from their own families (and their comfortable beds!) to provide this opportunity for our students. Camps are busy, demanding experiences, and our staff work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly and that every child is supported. Their care, energy and dedication do not go unnoticed and are very much appreciated by our whole school community.

School Photographs

Don't forget that Monday 18th May is School Photograph Day. All students need to be in full winter uniform and we hope they bring their best smiles with them.

Enrolments 2027

Believe it or not, our enrolments for 2027 are now open and interviews have commenced. If you have a little person due to start school next year, our enrolment packs are ready. If you have friends or family members looking for a primary school, please encourage them to come and visit us. Whilst our open day has been and gone, families are most welcome to book a tour with me.

Kind Regards,
