Messages from Mrs Trewick

WE ARE PEOPLE OF STRENGTH - WE ARE PEOPLE OF GENTLENESS.

As term 3 comes to an end, it is time to celebrate the achievements of the last 10 weeks.

  • Our students have extended themselves in their learning, whether it was in the classroom or at an event. We have been extremely proud of their efforts and attitudes.
  • Our staff have been challenged to change instruction and classroom routines to fit in with changes needed to support learning. These efforts should be acknowledged and celebrated as we are seeing great results in all areas of learning.
  • You, the families of St Joseph's, have shown confidence in decisions that have needed to be made. You've prepared your child to be ready to learn and kept the lines of communication open with your child's teachers. The partnership between school and home is vital and the children are the beneficiaries.

Building Update

We've had lots of good things have happened these last few weeks.

The Building Permit has been approved!

  • At this time the building is being painted
  • We hope the kitchen will be installed by the 22nd September

Over the holidays the demolition will begin in the spaces that are going to have a concrete slab.

The poles for some new shade sails will also be installed. These sails are going in the place of the raised garden beds.

SAVE THE DATE: Friday 29th September

Working Bee to set up the Kildare Centre and clean out the sports shed.

There will be lots of activity at school during the holidays. Thank you for your patience as we work together to create an engaging learning space for all children.

Take care and stay in touch.
