Physical Education

Swimming

Swimming commences on Monday, October 16.  If you haven't already, please check Operoo for details.

The swimming sessions are:

Group 1 - Year 5/6  Lesson Time 12:00pm to 12:45pm

Group 2 - Year 3/4  Lesson Time 12:45pm to 1:30pm

Group 3 - Year F/1/2  Lesson Time 1:30pm to 2:15pm

The cost, which includes bus fares, pool entry and instructors, is included in the annual Excursion Levy.

We recommend students wear goggles for swim lessons as the water does contain chemicals that irritate the eyes.

If your child is prone to eczema or very dry skin and require a rinse-off shower after swimming, please forward a note to your child's teacher informing them of the need for a shower.

NOTE: Students must be able to do this independently.

Rugby Gala

In the final week of term 3 the 3,4,5 students had a touch rugby gala event to conclude the four week instructional program they had with Len Mason from the NRL and Melbourne Storm.

The students were divided into six teams and exhibited all the skills and team play they had learned.  Our champion team were the Cowboys/girls team who were in pink. Oli, Parker V, Sophie B, Marley, Grady, Summer, Maggie & Sophie P.

Noted  best players were Toby and Cooper

Divisional Aths

This event was held for the winners of our district event day in March.  It is against all the winners from other Scool Sports Districts in the East of Melbourne.  Great efforts were made by Jack, Toby, Ruby W, Mahli, Charlee, Reegan and Rhys.  They learned there are lots of very talented kids out there!
