Congratulations to Noah and Alex who were selected to represent the Salisbury East District at the recent SAPSASA Athletics State Championship. Noah participated in shot put and threw a huge 8.25m and Alex won gold in discus with a throw of 17.74m! We are extremely proud of both of them and how well they represented our school and the district.

Festival of Music
Last week, our choir led by Ms Mentha, performed at the Festival Theatre to a packed audience. The Primary Schools Festival of Music, an official state icon, and custodian of an iconic South Australian tradition, engages our students in artistic excellence, cultural diversity and social inclusion through performance in Music and the Arts.
This year Paul Jarman was commissioned to compose a set of four songs entitled “World of Tomorrow” which were part of the repertoire that the students sang during the concert.
It's a huge commitment and amazing opportunity for our students to participate in the Festival of Music and we congratulate them and Ms Mentha for their hard work throughout the year. They were fabulous representatives of Para Vista Primary School.
Free Home Internet
Families without reliable home internet can request free wireless internet from the department at any time throughout the school year through the student home internet program. Students must only use the internet access for learning and study at home.
The department will supply you with:
- a dongle (small USB device), if you need one
- a mobile internet SIM card
- home internet access until the end of the school year.
You won’t need a dongle if your child will be using a laptop or tablet with a SIM card slot.
At the end of the school year the internet access will be deactivated. You can apply again for the following year if you still need the service.
Applications open in term 4 for the following school year. Submit your request as early as possible so you can receive the internet service in term 1.
You can also apply during the school year, if needed.
To request home internet access go to Free home internet access for students (education.sa.gov.au) and complete the request form.
