Middle School Assembly

On Wednesday 6 September Years 7, 8 and 9 came together in the Gym to take part in the Middle School assembly for Term 3. 

As always, the Middle School Captains Ethan Simons, Reny Zhang, Bonnie Blinco and Alex Wragg planned and ran the assembly. The meticulous planning in the weeks leading up to the assembly enabled them to once again provide an outstanding event to the 690+ strong audience.

This assembly was all about celebrating the achievements of students in the Middle School for Term 3, and it was so good to see so many students nominated for at least one award over Years 7, 8 and 9.

At Mordialloc College we have three categories of awards:

Learning Legend -  This is an award given for a student who has achieved outstanding results academically 

Excellent Endeavour - This award is for a student who may not achieve outstanding results compared to others, but always tries their hardest and is achieving their personal best.

All Rounder - This award is for students who have been perfect in class all term. They have been achieving outstanding results, have a great attitude towards learning and always try their best in their classes.

We had a total 130 students nominated for 170 certificates for Term 3. The following students were nominated for at least one award. Students that were nominated for more than one award were presented with their awards during the assembly. All students who were nominated for one award will be handed their certificates in upcoming Year Level Assemblies.

Congratulations to all award winners, it was great to see so many students acknowledged for their hard work and achievement throughout the Term. I look forward to seeing even more students receiving certificates in appreciation of their effort and achievements in Term 4.
