World's Greatest Shave

Every day, 53 Aussies are diagnosed with blood cancer, and 16 will lose their life. Year 10 Student, Willem Bone and Mr Tim Pearson decided to do the World's Greatest Shave to raise money for Leukaemia.

At lunchtime today, they shaved their heads to a packed COLA audience, having raised over $2000 so far.

When talking about why he chose to participate Willem said, ‘I chose to do the World's Greatest Shave because understanding that 16 Australians pass away each day due to blood cancer (that's 5840 people a year)…I know with everyone's support, we can lower that number day by day’.
