WALK TO SCHOOL - month of October
With the month of October upon us, the City of Casey is asking schools to encourage families to participate in “Walktober”.
The City of Casey has a competition on offer to encourage families to try walking, riding or scooting to/from school and to try “park and walk” – Park further away from the school and enjoy the short walk to or from school.
Around the local reserve/park/shopping carpark Safe Around Schools posters with a QR code have been set up. Families can scan the QR Code to enter the competition which runs during October and school-related hours only. (The QR Code can only be found on the posters displayed in the nearby walk to school points, located on the map attached.)
The more times that you park and walk, or walk, ride or scoot through the reserve/s, the more times you can enter the competition!
There are 50 x $30.00 Gift Cards to win across Casey. The random draw will take place at beginning of November and winners will be notified. We will also let the school know if you have any families that have won.
All winners will be drawn 2/11/2023 and notified by details given on the entry form

School Advisory Committee
If you would like to raise an item to be discussed at the next Advisory Committee meeting you can drop us a line via email schoolboard@stacbourne.catholic.edu.au One of the members will get back to you and inform you of the outcome of your question or item to be raised.
St Agatha’s School Advisory Committee acts as a forum for discussion on matters relating to Education in the Parish School. The Committee’s main function is to discuss and discern the ongoing development and future needs of the school community. The Committee operates in an advisory capacity to the Principal.
