Camp Australia
Dear families,
Another term is about to come to an end and we have school holidays just around the corner. Rocketeers will be ready to launch at Caulfield Primary from Monday 18th September to Thursday 28th September, 7am to 6pm.
There is still time to book a spot for your children. There are three different categories of the days during the holidays. We have club based days where the children are provided with activities based on their interests, incursion days where there will be a special activity which may be run by the Camp Australia team or we have a visit from an outside provider and the always popular excursion days where the children jump on a bus which will take them on an exciting outing.
You can book via your parent portal or if you are new to using a Camp Australia service, you can go to campaustralia.com.au and register for free. The full program can also be found on the website with all the activities and adventures.
Leanne and Marianne have told me OSHC is going well while I am on sick leave. I will be back at the start of Term 4 and we will count down to the end of the year and have fun along the way. Our new menu enhancement has been successful as we have had an opportunity to add more variety to our breakfast and afternoon tea choices and the children have been providing their input in what they would like to have. We will continue to build on our menu during term 4 as we have many more delicious recipes to try.
I was able to attend the matinee performance of the school production. I was so proud of all the children. I have had sneak peeks of rehearsals during the year when I come in to start my ASC session, but it was so much better seeing all your hard work paying off with the fantastic performance and the great costumes and props. Well done to everyone involved! I even found myself doing some of the dance moves in my chair.
For the last day of term, after school care will start at 2:30pm with the early school finish time.
Jade and the OSHC team
