Wellbeing Leader: Mrs Jessica Carmichael

2024

Wellness Week

Next week students will take part in our inaugural WELLNESS WEEK - this is designed to teach each of them about wellness and the components that make a person well.

During the week there will be a range of activities occurring for students to be part of and enjoy as a way to bring more wellness to their day ~

Wear it Wednesday will bring an opportunity to give a gold coin donation as part of our Project Compassion commitment for Lent.

On Friday, we invite families into our classrooms between 1:00-1:40 to create 'Kindness Catchers' with their child or grandchild...a chance for real connections and moments of wellness to occur

Courage & Crowns

We are excited to welcome Megan Simpson back to St Joseph's this year to work with our girls in Years 4 - 6.

Megan worked with our senior girls in 2023 and we are looking forward to her returning in 2024.

Attendance

PBIS

As part of our school wide Positive Behaviour Framework students collect GOTCHAS for showing their excellence in our areas of expectation; safe, respectful and responsible. This term Year 6 leaders were given the opportunity to make changes to the class reward incentive choices.  The Wellbeing team then worked closely with Mrs Carmichael to align the new reward options with GOTCHA amounts.  Well done Wellbeing Team ~
