Student Out-Of-Class Notification

This year we are introducing a new process for when a student requests to leave the classroom. Previously, students had their teacher sign the notes section of their Student Planner. Now, when a student requests to leave the classroom, their teacher will log a Compass Chronicle entry which will send an SMS message to parents to notify them that their child has left the classroom.

The new process will assist the College in carrying out our duty of care for students as well as provide more transparency for parents of their child's activities.

We welcome feedback from our student and parent community regarding this process update. If students or parents have questions or concerns regarding this, please contact your relevant Year Level Coordinator or Positive Climate for Learning Leader.

Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF) Applications

School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership.  All are a part of a healthy curriculum. CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps, and sporting activities.

If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families.

The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child. If you would like to apply for the first time, please contact the school office on 9848 4677 and ask for an application form, alternatively see attached application form.

Applications for CSEF must be submitted by 28 June 2024.
