Dear Parents / Carers,

It is hard to believe that it is already Week Two of Term One, 2024. I enjoyed my time at Rowville Primary School in Term Four last year, so was very happy to be invited back (albeit for a short time) whilst Ms Babich is on personal leave. I have been checking in with Ms Babich and she is delighted at how well the staff and students have started the year.

I joined the team on Monday and was privileged to see the great process that welcomes the Foundation students to Rowville Primary School. I have been able to visit all classrooms and there is an air of calm across the board. The school holidays were relatively long so I can only assume that the students (and perhaps parents) were happy for the school year to begin.

Yesterday, I joined the Year Six students as they walked across to Stud Park Shopping Centre to purchase their writer’s notebooks. The students managed the task well and were quite excited about the shopping experience. I will also be joining Year Four on Thursday and Year Three on Friday, as they also have the same opportunity.
