Carlsruhe Annexe /

Main Campus - Year 4

Welcome to all of the new Year 4 families who will be part of our special year. We are looking forward to sharing the wonderful experiences and seeing your children grow in confidence, skills and knowledge.

So far this term at Carlsruhe, we have been busy learning about all the different jobs we have to undertake each day. The children have been working in teams to take care of the various animals we have here at Carlsruhe, as well as learning about the maintenance and gardening responsibilities we have to complete each day. Already this week, some students were able to take home some of the guinea pigs to care for them over the weekend and one family visited the campus to feed the chickens, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

At the Woodend campus, the students in 4SM have the opportunity to catch up with friends in other year groups and have started their learning in their own private portable. They will be coming out to Carlsruhe during Term 2.

Please ensure your child has a school hat and water bottle each day. At Carlsruhe, we need to complete jobs outside and do not have enough hats for the number of students who need them at the moment.

Information relating to the rotation swap over dates and the Carlsruhe activity program will be sent out at the end of the week.

The students are very excited to begin using their Chromebooks tomorrow after our introductory eSafety lessons. Please ensure they come fully charged in their protective bags.
