Year 5/6 - Senior Unit

Welcome to our first Senior News Update for 2024.

We congratulate all of our Year 5/6 students on the calm commencement of the school year.

It was lovely to see familiar faces and meet new students within our cohort.

2024 promises to be a fabulous year with many occasions and learning opportunities already in the calendar.

Within our Term 1 Inquiry Unit, we are studying the motivation for migration to Australia. We encourage you to chat about possible personal experiences or those of families or friends.

The children have selected a sport they would like to participate in representing Woodend PS on February 26 within the COBAW Summer Sport Programme.

Nathan Spilsted, Katie Cashen, Kasey Ward and I look forward to meeting you at the Parent Meet and Greet sessions.
