Sacramental Program 2024

Dear Parents,

We are currently organising our Sacramental programs for 2024 and are looking for confirmation of candidate numbers for each of these programs. All students will participate in Sacramental preparation as part of our regular Religious Education program which is based on the Diocese of Sale’s To Live in Christ Jesus program. However only Catholic students receive the Sacrament. 

Please email me ASAP at info@olsscowes.catholic.edu.au if your child will be participating this year.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION (Sacrament of Penance)

Candidates must have been previously Baptised

Candidates are usually in Year 3 (but can be older)

Celebration of the Sacrament will take place on Wednesday 27th March 4pm

SACRAMENT OF EUCHARIST (First Communion)

Candidates must have previously received the Sacraments of Baptism and Reconciliation

Candidates are usually in Year 4 (but can be older)

Celebration of the Sacrament will take place on Sunday 2nd June 9am

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

Candidates must have previously received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, and Eucharist

Candidates are usually in Year 6

Celebration of the Sacrament will take place on Sunday 18th August 9am

If you are interested in your child being Baptised into the Catholic faith please contact Father Manny directly to discuss. He can be contacted via the St. Mary’s Parish 5952 5418.
