Carpark & School Crossing

DROP OFF AREA

A huge thank you to everyone who is remembering to use the drop-off zone correctly- and NOT EXITING THE CAR. This is a kiss and drop area only. Please drive to the FAR end of the drop off area so other cars can pull up behind you. Please do not sit and wait in this area. If your child is not ready, please move along and park or do a lap of the carpark until your child is ready. If you need to assist your child in/out of the car please use the designated parking bays.

SCHOOL CROSSING

A crossing supervisor will man the crossing each morning and afternoon. Some of you might like to ride or walk to school now the weather is beginning to improve. Please remind your child that they must STOP and WAIT for the whistle to blow BEFORE they cross the road.

THE CARPARK

 A few reminders:

• ONE WAY -All cars to follow the direction of the arrows when driving in the carpark.
• Please DO NOT drive over the centre area between the 2 parking bays- this is a designated pedestrian area and MUST NOT be driven over at any time (see map below for detail).
• All pedestrians to use the newly marked pedestrian crossing and the space between car parks to get to cars parked in the centre car parks.
• The drop-off zone (which is the marked concrete section) may be used. Please DO NOT EXIT YOUR CAR, kiss and drop area only.  If you need to assist your child in/out of the car please do not use this area
• If you are parked in the old car parks the children are still asked to walk on the grass behind the cars

Please remember that all cars must travel at a walking pace when in the school car park and look out for pedestrians at all times.
