VCE & VCE VM Information Evening
As Careers Practitioner, I was pleased to see so many parents attend our recent VCE Information Evening, where we were able to present key aspects of Study Scores, the ATAR, and post-school pathways. This session was designed to help families better understand the VCE journey and the various options available to students after Year 12. A significant focus of the evening was how Study Scores contribute to the ATAR and what this means for university and TAFE applications.
For those seeking more details about university applications, VTAC processes, and course preferences, we will be hosting a VTAC Parent Information Evening later in the year. This session will provide comprehensive guidance on navigating tertiary applications and making informed decisions about the future.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s career pathway, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting students in their career journeys.
Year 12 Students
Book Your Careers Meeting Now!
As you move through your final year of school, it’s essential to start planning for your future beyond Year 12. To ensure every student is on track, all Year 12 students – whether you’re completing VCE, VCE VM Hybrid, or SBAT – are required to book a careers meeting with either Mrs. Jessie Dennison or Mr. Tim Knowles.
These one-on-one sessions are your opportunity to discuss your pathway plans, whether that’s university, TAFE, apprenticeships, traineeships, employment, or other options. We’ll help you explore your interests, understand your choices, and make sure you’re taking the right steps toward your goals.
How to Book:
Booking is simple – just log in to Compass Conferences and schedule a time that works for you – this needs to be either during one of your study periods or at recess/lunch.
These conversations are an important part of your Year 12 journey, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We look forward to meeting with you soon!
