Yr 12 Senior Sunrise

On Tuesday 18th February 2025, we held our first Year 12 event, the Senior Sunrise. The Senior Sunrise was a fantastic way to bring our Year 12 cohort together as we kicked off our final year.

We met at Pathways Hub bright and early and then we made our way to the oval to catch the sunrise. With cameras in hand, we took heaps of photos and videos, featuring an amazing frame made by Ms. Zhang. Some students even took this as an opportunity for a morning stroll around the oval, which left Mrs Lobriza–Kalt and Ms Zhang very confused.

After enjoying the fresh air, we returned to Pathways Hub to write letters to our future selves. We’ll open these letters at the Senior Sunset later this year and we will be able to see how much we have changed and grown over the year. We also recorded “Time Capsule videos” where students were asked, “Where do you hope to be in 10 years?”. The range of answers reflected our different dreams and aspirations making it even more meaningful!

To finish off the morning, we enjoyed an incredible pancake breakfast in the courtyard, freshly made by Mr. Pearson and Mr. Doble! This event was an opportunity to bring our cohort together, strengthen connections between our Year Level Leaders and students and most importantly create meaningful memories. A huge thank you to everyone who made this happen for our cohort!

Regency Park PS Leadership Assembly

On Tuesday 13 February we had the pleasure of two of our students Mabel Nimco (Year 12) and Josias Zacarias (Year 10) present their experiences about their leadership journey at the Regecy Park Primary School Leadership Assembly. They were both excellent in their manner and in what they spoke about, including being leaders of a school and the expectations of moving into secondary college. Great advice was offered, not only to the Year 6 students, but also to the rest of the school. Regency Park were all very impressed with them and they were a credit to Wantirna College in the way they represented the school.
