Getting to Know You Interviews and Prep Welcome BBQ

On Tuesday and throughout the week our staff have been engaging with families via our Getting to Know You Interviews (Year 1 - 6) and Prep Welcome BBQ.

Tuesday’s Prep BBQ was a terrific celebration of the Preps’ start to school.  It was great to see the connections between the families, their children, school staff and the community. 

Thanks to our teachers who put in a long day!

Sonja Terpstra Visit

On Thursday last week the school had a visit from Sonja Terpstra MP.  She engaged with students on our new synthetic field, celebrated the State Government’s free Prep Book Bags, and toured the school to hear of our future needs.

It was also a great opportunity for our community to acknowledge our Parents’ Association, CHAPS, who fundraised for the field.

Reminder: School Council Nominations close tomorrow at 4:00pm

Last Friday, via Compass formally called for School Council nominations for School Council. 

Nomination forms are able to be obtained from the school (or via these links: PARENT/CARER FORM or SCHOOL EMPLOYEE FORM) and must be lodged by 4.00 pm, Friday 23 February.
