Year 11 Legal Studies

The Year 11 Legal Studies class were fortunate to have a visit from Ms Michelle Brereton in Week 5.  Ms Brereton is a practising solicitor specialising in contract law.

The students spent time being guided on legal research – the locations to find information to support arguments, use and the role of case law, consolidating with practical activities including a review of the Baden Clay case. The workshop has provided the students with extremely useful guidance for their upcoming assignments focussing on legal issues.

We are very grateful for the time provided by Ms Brereton in not only presenting to the class but the preparation behind the scenes.

Year 7 PBL

The first rotation elective for Year 7 PBL had the wonderful experience of participating in the Drone Essentials workshop hosted by Paul Mead from She Maps.

This workshop consolidates their understanding on the parameters of flying drones with a focus on drone delivery systems.

The students and Mrs Saime Stevens were beaming with joy at the end of the workshop. They used geographical skills, coding and of course team collaboration to complete tasks.
