Augustine House

Ms Sonya Barnes, Middle Leader Pastoral - Augustine

As we bring Term 1 to a close, it's with great pride and gratitude that we reflect on the achievements and milestones we've reached together in Augustine.

Guess what?  We did it! Our team smashed the curse and snagged first place at the swimming carnival! Huge shoutout to all the students who gave it their all and cheered each other on. It was a seriously epic day, and I have to admit, I got a little teary-eyed seeing all that hard work pay off. Or maybe it was the surprise dip in the pool the students gave me to celebrate – either way, total highlight of the term!

Our open evening was a testament to the creativity and talent within our community. I am very grateful to the Augustine students for helping us showcase our House. Your contributions left a lasting impression on all who attended.

In Cross Country we continued to shine with twenty-five students taking on the challenge, showing grit and determination every step of the way. Way to represent, team!

Congratulations to our new Year 7 pastoral leaders, James Schafer and Charlotte Majet! They’re going to be amazing at representing their peers on the student agency team.

As we approach the holiday season, we encourage students to embrace this opportunity for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Whether spending time with family, pursuing personal interests, or simply enjoying moments of peace and quiet, we hope this break serves as a time for renewal and reflection.

Thank you to our parents, students, and wider community for your unwavering support and dedication throughout the term.

Kind regards,

Ms Sonya Barnes | Middle Leader Pastoral - Augustine
