Emergencies…being prepared.
What can families and the school community do to help us prepare?
- Download and connect to school through the SENTRAL app for whole school and year level specific communication (including whole school parent/carers broadcasts)
- Download the CLASSROOM DOJO app, for your best connection to the classroom teacher.
- Keep updated with school activities by reading our newsletters and by checking our website.
TO CHECK:
- Ensure we have your current contact details, including your mobile phone numbers.
- Ensure the emergency contact details for your family are up to date.
- Ensure all specific documented family arrangements which are legally binding are shared with the administration staff.
- Inform the school office of all student absences, stating the reason a child is not present at school. Schools must supply a code to the Education Department every time a child is absent from school, therefore we require this information to be shared

Student Counselling
I’m taking this opportunity to remind you of the continued counselling initiative at school which is useful for all students requiring emotional support. We are offering one-to-one counselling sessions to students who may require emotional support. These sessions are conducted by Master of Counselling Students from Monash University, who are undergoing supervised training to become qualified counsellors.
Each session lasts for approximately 30 minutes and provides a safe and confidential space for students to express their feelings, thoughts and concerns. Our aim is to support our students’ emotional wellbeing and to help them develop healthy coping mechanisms for any challenges they may be facing.
If you believe that your child could benefit from these counselling sessions, please don't hesitate to contact the Assistant Principal, Leisel Ward, for more information and to discuss details.
We understand that every child is unique and may have different needs, and we want to assure you that we are committed to providing the necessary support to ensure their wellbeing and academic success. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in nurturing our students' holistic development.
Regards,
Leisel Ward
