Dear PVNPS Community

I would like to introduce our new Business Manager Ms Amy.  Ms Amy has already settled in her new chair and office. You will find Ms Amy very lovely and approachable and willing to help as much as possible. 

On behalf of the PVNPS community we wish Ms Amy all the best in her new position and hope she enjoys coming to work everyday like we do, at PVNPS.

CAN YOU HELP IN THE CLASSROOM?

If you can assist in the classroom for any amount of time, please contact your classroom teacher, especially in years Prep-2. Teachers always value some assistance with changing home readers daily and even reading to some students who require this attention. 

COMMUNITY DONATIONS: 

At PVNPS we are doing such amazing things and I know we talk about them in our newsletters and hopefully our students tell you about some of them too...BUT if we had an electronic board I would be able to show with pictures and words exactly some of the great things we do everyday.

Therefore, I have written a letter which I am planning to send to some local BIG businesses to see if they can make some donations/contributions towards an electronic board for our school. If you know of any businesses, local or not, that would like to fund or contribute towards our board, then please contact me.

The cost of such a board to show graphics as well as text is approx $30,000

AUSLAN - Language other than English

Our school supports inclusion and diversity and one way we do this is through our L.O.T.E is Auslan and this is the language for the deaf. We use a purchased online program,  that classroom teachers oversee for 1/2 hour each week. Here are some students enjoying their session.
