Easy as Riding a Bike...
In the Recreation class at Lalor North Secondary College, year 8 and 9 students are learning about bike safety, an essential skill for enjoying outdoor activities. Guided by their teacher, students are sharpening their knowledge on proper helmet fitting, signaling, and road awareness. To put theory into practice, the class gears up for a bike ride around the school grounds, providing a hands-on experience. This exercise not only enhances their skills but also boosts their confidence in riding. This session serves as a valuable preparation for their upcoming excursion, ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely enjoy their outdoor adventures. Just like riding a bike, with practice and guidance, they are quickly mastering the art of safe cycling.
