Year 12 Captains Attend GRIP Leadership Conference in Ballarat
On Monday, 10th November, the 2026 Year 12 Captains and their peers travelled to Ballarat to attend the GRIP Student Leadership Conference, accompanied by Nadia as Head of Senior School and Zoe Carney Year 12 Advisory Teacher.
The GRIP Leadership organisation exists to train and develop young leaders, focusing on practical leadership within the school context. The conference provided a valuable opportunity for our student leaders to connect with others from across the region, share experiences, and build skills to make a positive difference in their leadership journey.
This year’s conference theme — “I Accept the Challenge” — encouraged students to recognise the unique challenges within their own schools and to take proactive steps toward meaningful improvement. Throughout the day, students participated in a range of interactive sessions, workshops, and leadership games, designed to develop their confidence, communication, and initiative.
The conference reinforced GRIP’s core values of Generosity, Responsibility, Integrity, and People, reminding students that great leadership is about service, honesty, and the courage to act for others. Our Year 12 Captains and school leaders returned from Ballarat energised and inspired, ready to take on the year ahead with renewed purpose and a clear vision for leading their peers.
Reminder Year 12 Graduation Dinner - Friday the 14th of November
A friendly reminder to all Year 12 students and families that our Year 12 Graduation Dinner will be held on Friday, 14th November.
This special evening is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements, friendships, and memories of the graduating Class of 2025. It will be a wonderful occasion to reflect on the year that was and to farewell our Year 12 students as they prepare for the next exciting chapter of their journeys.
Important Reminder: Please ensure that payment for your ticket has been made. Final payments are due now to confirm attendance and assist with final seating and catering arrangements.
We look forward to celebrating this milestone event with our students, families, and staff.
Horsham Regional Art Gallery exhibition featuring our Year 12 Art folios!
A few weeks ago, we were thrilled to be approached by the Horsham Regional Art Gallery who requested that our very talented VCE Art Making and Exhibiting class put their folios on display as part of their Art Spark exhibition. Of course, we said yes, so a representative from the gallery travelled to Charlton to collect the folios created by Annie Olive, Georgia Wright and Poppy Fitzpatrick.
The work is on display until the end of November and the girls were really thrilled to visit the gallery to see their work on exhibit. On the day of their visit, gallery staff were keen to catch up with the girls and discuss their folios.
Being part of the exhibition is a very special honour for Annie, Georgia and Poppy and they should feel incredibly proud of what they have achieved. The hard work and countless hours spent in the Art room, often well after dark, paid off! You have all created unique pieces of art and it is fantastic to see your efforts being recognised on a larger scale. Well done girls!

CAREER CLUSTERS
Do you know where you fit?
Thinking about your career as a series of static jobs is a thing of the past. By learning about your strengths, skills, and values, you can easily work out a pathway that’s right for you.
There are six Career Clusters, and within each Cluster you’ll find people who share a set of tasks, core technical and transferable skills, work environments, and common outcomes. You’ll also find people from each Cluster in every industry, which means if you are looking for roles that match your Cluster, there’s a greater chance it’ll be one you’ll enjoy.
The Career Cluster quiz is quick and easy, and incredibly accurate – why not learn which Cadi Cluster you’re in today?
