Gold Token Reward Session
We are excited to announce that our Gold Token Reward Session for this term will take place on Thursday 18 December. Students who earn a Gold Token will be invited to take part in a fun water play session to celebrate their positive choices and hard work this term.
It’s not too late for students to receive a Gold Token! There are still plenty of opportunities to show great behaviour, demonstrate our school values, and work towards this exciting end of year reward.
We can’t wait to celebrate with our students!
Reflection Room
At our school, the Reflection Room is a supportive space designed to help students pause, think, and learn from their actions. Guided by our Deputy Principals and Assistant Principals, students are encouraged to reflect on behaviour choices made in the playground, understand the impact of their actions, and consider more positive ways moving forward.
This process is not a consequence, but an opportunity for students to build self-awareness, problem-solve, and restore relationships when needed. To maintain open and transparent communication, parents and caregivers are notified by email whenever a student engages in a reflective conversation. This partnership ensures that school and home can work together to support each child’s wellbeing, growth, and success.
New Deputy In Town
This week the Deputies had a visit from Elouise who checked in on their to do list to make sure they are working hard. We may have a new Deputy Principal in town!
Junior AECG News!
At the beginning of the year, our Junior AECG came up with the idea of creating an outdoor learning space as an extension of Nupalikolinba that incorporated bush tucker and space to work or catch-up outside.
Olly from WatersUp came and spoke to the Junior AECG on Wednesday about the wicking garden beds that were purchased and explained to them how the wicking system works.
