Last Friday was the Year 12 Graduation for 2025. Students, families and staff gathered to celebrate the completion of their schooling. It was pleasing to see a number of former staff return to celebrate, share their memories of the students or send special messages. Thank you to all the staff, students and families who contributed to making the night special for our year 12 students.
Congratulations to all of our VCE students on the completion of their exams. They have put in many hours of study and now eagerly await their results which will be released at 7.00am on Thursday 11th December.
Please be advised there will be limited parking out the front of the stadium while the Dental Van is visiting from 24th November to 28th November. Use of the Oval car park or staff car park is recommended. To ensure the safety of all students, please avoid collecting your children from across the road.
Charlton College students again did well in the annual English Competition. Twenty students competed in the English Competition this year from Years 6 to 10. Students were chosen based on classroom performance and attitude and all participants are to be congratulated on their selection. The online test is designed to recognise academic excellence; students are assessed on their ability to apply classroom learning to new contexts using higher-order thinking and problem- solving skills. We are proud of all the students who represented Charlton College this year.

Regular school attendance is vital for student success. Everyday counts, and missing school means missing out on important learning opportunities. Consistent attendance helps students stay engaged, achieve better academic outcomes and build strong social connections. However, if your child is sick, it is important that they stay home to rest and recover, and to prevent the spread of illness to other students and staff. If your child needs to be absent, I kindly ask that you inform the school.
