Welcome to Term 2!

Firstly we wish to congratulate Ms Hill on her official appointment as Principal. It is a well deserved role and we are really privileged to have such a well rounded leader of our amazing community.

You may not know, Michelle has been at St Finbars for 13 years! When you are appointed principal you are required to sign an 8 year contract taking Michelle to 2032. 

At our School Advisory Council Meeting (16th April) we were privileged enough to hear about her vision for St Finbars and how she can build on the amazing school we already have. She has some wonderful plans that i’m sure she will share with the community in due course. 

We also welcome Chaewon to 6H. We hope you and your family feel at home in our community. 

Our P&F committee meeting for Term 2 will be held next Tuesday where we will be reflecting on last term’s activities, providing an update on the fundraising totals and discussing what we will be able to purchase with those funds to improve the school and possibly fun activities for the children. 

The other important topic for the meeting will be venue booking for Mother’s Day 2025. Collectively we make a decision on the venue. 

We will provide an update here next week.
