YEAR 5&6 WINTER SPORT 

Inter-School Football/Netball Program

* Rd. 1 begins tomorrow *

Details for tomorrow’s games: Friday 19th April 

*OPEROO PERMISSION: please ensure you’ve accepted permission, or no bus ride can occur.

* FOOTBALLERS:  MUST bring a mouthguard – no mouthguard, no play

*GAMES PLAYED: approx. 1.00pm – 2.30pm.

HOME GAMES:  St Finbar’s 1  vs St Joan of Arc 2:

Football:   Hurlingham Oval #1 (bigger oval), Nepean Hwy, Brighton East. (Miss Happell)

Netball:  St. Finbar’s school courts  (Miss Bourke)

Footballers to be picked up by St. Joan of Arc at 12.45pm, return to school by 3.10pm. 

AWAY GAMES:  De La Salle vs  St. Finbar’s 2: 

Football: **** ❗LATE VENUE CHANGE❗ **** Stanley Grose Reserve, Darling Park, Malvern East. (Mr. Tyndall)   

Netball: Stonnington Sports Centre, 32B Chadstone Rd, Malvern East.  (Mrs Sweeney)

To depart at 12.30pm by bus. Return by 3.25pm

NEXT WEDNESDAY! 

Our Year 3-6’s are gearing up for next Wednesday’s Inter-House Cross Country event at Dendy Park lower ovals.  Students will walk to Dendy Park at 9am and compete in their respective SSV age group race.  8/9y & 10yo’s (turning those ages before 31/12/24) will run a 2km course, whilst 11y & 12/13y olds will run a 3km course.

URGENT HELP REQUIRED:  if any parent or Uni student (with a current WWCC) are able to support this event as a course marshall, course guide (bike or run) or scoring data entry recorder, please click on this link; XC HELPER SIGN UP, or email Tania (tthompson@sfbrightoneast.catholic.edu.au).
