Upcycling Market

Year 8 Upcycling Market

The Upcycling Market was an amazing and super fun experience for myself, Rosie and Vida as well as the rest of the year 8 cohort.

We learnt how it felt to become an entrepreneur and to run a small business. We also learnt what entrepreneurs and business owners have to do and the skills they need for a business to thrive.

In the Upcycling Market, all of the Year 8’s had to use spare materials to create products to sell to the school for the charity Three for the Sea.

Rosie, Vida and I used old magazines to make creative and colourful origami fidgets and gifts. Our business was successful and we are proud of what we achieved.  There were so many creative ideas.

Overall our year 8 cohort raised over $500 which is a tremendous effort!
