Year 10 House Extension
Students were given a brief where the client required an extension to their existing house. Plans had to be drawn to scale and a three-dimensional building produced using SketchUp. Students then had to market the property by producing a Real Estate flyer.
Year 11 Visual Communication: Frankie’s Brand Identity
Students needed to create new branding for Frankie’s fish & chip shop.
Applying the design process the branding needed to:
- be a unique and memorable visual identity that differentiates the shop from its competitors.
- communicate the values of farm to plate eating and Byron Bay beach culture.
- establish a consistent and cohesive visual language across all design collateral, including digital and print media.
- attract new customers to their renovated diner space.
- be used in a variety of ways, such as online ordering through to the paper packaging for takeaway meals.
The final presentation was a style guide containing the Logo, Colour palette, Typeface, and Icon designs to help customers identify shellfish, vegan, and gluten free menu items.
