Ms Ferrier's class

This last week has been very busy with lots of timetable changes with teacher absences, sickness and sporting events.  The students have shown their resilience and flexibility adapting to these changes.

In Year 2/3 class have been focusing heavily on correct handwriting using spaces, correct size and placement on the lines. We have also been completing fluency reading with daily practise.

Fluency is a combination of the ability to read with accuracy, speed, and proper expression, which then helps students strengthen their reading comprehension skills.

In Art, the seniors have now completed our unit on symmetry and insects. In the foyer and on the cupboards near the office, we have terrific art pieces completed by the students. Please check them out next week on our Open Morning as our students are really proud of their work.
