Nigel Adkin - House Leader

As usual we have had a busy start to Term 2. Our students have represented Monoceros in the House Athletics in week one and in the last week of term one they competed in the Cross-Country carnival. Week 5 saw Founders Day and The Talent Quest occur. I congratulate all those students who competed to the best of their abilities in these events.

 

Monoceros finished fifth in the Athletics with the following students winning their respective age group champions.

 

Marcus Versoza                –             Year 11 Boys

Juan Wani                            –             Year 11 Girls

 

In the Cross country, Monoceros finished fifth, the following students placed in their respective age group champions, and now go on to represent the College at the SIS Cross Country Championships.

 

Beka Edeo                           –             Year 7                                   Champion

Aishah Houzaife                –             Year 7                                    Second

Juan Wani                            –             Year 11 Girls                       Champion

 

 

Well done to our age group champions and everyone else who competed in both carnivals.
